Yesterday I walked down to the Washington Monument to join the movement called Forward on Climate. Hosted by 350.org, it’s a national movement to rally and support what Obama has been saying about moving towards clean energy in the United States. Soon a bill will come to his desk and he can either accept or decline the Keystone Pipeline. This decision that he makes will put into actions the words he has been saying. It will show that big business doesn’t have the ability to continue their environmental destruction. Here in DC the rally slowly grew, and became over 40,000 people strong, the largest rally for the environment in the Nations History. It was a great time with music blaring, big name speakers, and congressman speaking on the topic.
